This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all services offered through the rainboW platform, operated by Rainbow Enterprises.
1. Nature of Services
rainboW provides on-demand cab booking and home services. As these are service-based offerings, refunds and cancellations are subject to service status and timing.
2. Cancellation Policy
a. Cancellation Window (TAT for Cancellation)
- Users can cancel a booking anytime before service provider assignment without any charges.
- After assignment, cancellation is allowed but charges may apply.
- Once the service provider has arrived or service has started, cancellation may not be eligible for a refund.
b. Channels for Cancellation
- Mobile application (primary method)
- Customer support email
3. Refund Policy Offered
rainboW follows a “Conditional Refund Policy”, which includes:
- Refunds (in eligible cases)
- Partial refunds (if service partially delivered)
- No refund in certain scenarios
4. Eligible Refund Cases
- Payment made but service not delivered
- Service provider unavailable
- Duplicate or excess payment
- Booking canceled by driver or due to technical issues
5. Non-Refundable Cases
- Cancellation after service start or provider arrival
- Incorrect booking details provided by user
- Service successfully completed
- No-show by user
6. Refund Processing Time (TAT)
- Refunds will be initiated within 5–7 business days from approval
- The total credit time depends on the payment method and bank processing time
7. Mode of Refund
Refunds will be processed through the original mode of payment, including:
- UPI
- Debit/Credit Card
- Wallets
In certain cases, refunds may be provided as app credits, if applicable.
8. Policy Validity (TAT Applicability)
This policy is applicable for all bookings made through the platform and remains valid until the service is completed or canceled.
Refund eligibility is determined based on the time of cancellation relative to service status.
9. No-Show Policy
If the user is unavailable at the service location after provider arrival, it will be treated as a No-Show, and charges may apply.
